The North Arkansas Electric Cooperative Board of Directors will accept résumés of Fulton County members interested in filling the position previously held by Jim Short of Salem.
Mr. Short resigned from the board Sept. 30 after serving since 2013.
“On behalf of NAEC, we thank Jim for his years of service in helping improve the quality of life of our members, and we wish him well,” CEO Mel Coleman said.
Fulton County members interested in the position must submit a cover letter and résumé to the co-op’s Salem headquarters by 4:30 p.m. Oct. 15. Qualifications required to serve as a director are listed in Article IV of the NAEC Bylaws available as a PDF here.
NAEC directors then will review the résumés at the next board meeting and select a member to fill the unexpired term, which runs through mid-2027.
