The North Arkansas Electric Cooperative Board of Directors will accept résumés of Baxter County members interested in filling the position previously held by Beth Carter of Mountain Home.
Mrs. Carter resigned from the board Nov. 21 after serving since 2005.
“The NAEC family thanks Beth for her years of service,” CEO Mel Coleman said. “She became a trailblazer as the first woman on the NAEC Board of Directors and spent the past two decades leading with a members-first perspective.”
Baxter County members interested in the position must submit a cover letter and résumé to the co-op’s Salem headquarters by 4:30 p.m. Dec. 5. Qualifications required to serve as a director are listed in Article IV of the NAEC Bylaws available as a PDF here.
NAEC directors then will review the résumés at the next board meeting and select a member to fill the unexpired term, which runs through mid-2030.
